About me
A passion for massage and people
My training
I trained at the London School of Sports Massage in 2002 and have been a full member of the Institute of Soft Tissue Therapy, formerly the "Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage". I absolutely adore the extremely broad variety of people I meet in my practice, who all come with their own personal musculoskeletal challenges — no two bodies are ever the same, and neither are their massage treatments.
I qualified in 2002 and have treated over 4,000 clients since then, ranging from stressed-out desk workers who don't find the time to exercise, to world-class mountain marathon runners.
I have also published two articles in the Financial Times: one about back health, and one to help you build healthy habits (subscription may be required).
My life outside massage
Besides running the clinic, I have a variety of interests and have worked in the past as a translator, a writer, and a theatre director. I have an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Munich, I studied at Trinity College Dublin and at St Patrick's College Maynooth, Ireland. I have written several books on IT topics, and translated James Hawes' novel A White Merc With Fins into German.
